After the name change, the users are speculating about what is the meaning of this new cryptic moniker. This is not the first time that Musk has changed is display name on X. In December, Elon Musk changed his X display name to "Kekius Maximus" and updated his profile picture to feature the iconic "Pepe the Frog" meme holding a video game joystick.
What does ‘Gorklon Rust’ mean
The new display name on Musk’s X profile appears to a blend of references. One clear element is "Grok," the name of the artificial intelligence chatbot developed by Musk's own AI company, xAI. The second part, "Rust," likely refers to the Rust programming language, which is reportedly used within xAI's technological infrastructure. This suggests a connection to his AI ventures.
Also ‘Gorklon Rust’ is also the name of a meme coin which is circulating on the Solana blockchain. Currently, the meme coin is being traded on decentralised platforms line PumpSwap, Raydium, and Meteora.
