Air India's Chennai-Delhi flight faces delay due to 'technical snag', flyers fume

NEW DELHI: Passengers onboard an Air India flight from Chennai to Delhi had to face inconvenience on Tuesday after the flight was delayed due to a reported technical snag.
As per the TV reports, the unexpected delay sparked frustration among passengers, many of whom expressed anger over the lack of timely updates or clear communication from the airline.

Reports suggested, the delay stretched for several hours, leaving travelers stranded inside the aircraft and at the terminal without clarity on the departure time. They were later deboarded.

As of now, it remains unclear whether passengers were accommodated on alternate flights or compensated for the disruption.
The incident came a day after Air India faced criticism from comedian Vir Das over an uncomfortable flight experience, further adding to concerns about the airline's service standards.
