Mumbai: No daytime block on Western Railway suburban section today

MUMBAI: To carry out maintenance work on tracks, signalling, and overhead equipment, a jumbo block of three hours was taken on the UP and DOWN Fast lines between Vasai Road and Vaitarna stations.
The block on the UP Fast line was undertaken from 11.50 pm to 2.50 am, while on the DOWN Fast line, it was from 1.30 am to 4.30 am. Due to the block, Train No. 19101 Virar-Bharuch MEMU was delayed and departed from Virar at 4.45 am.
Therefore, there will be no rail block during the daytime over the Western Railway suburban section today, an official said.
