Hollywood action superstar
Tom Cruise is back on the big screens in India, with the early release of his film 'Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning'. The actor has once again charmed Indian fans—this time not with his signature stunts, but with his Hindi and heartfelt admiration for India and its vibrant film industry.
While promoting the final instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, the actor expressed his affection for Indian culture and shared his desire to make a Bollywood-style film in the future.
In a video shared by Avneet Kaur, the actor gushed, “I feel so much love for India. India is an amazing country—people and culture. The entire experience has been etched in my memory. Every single moment, from visiting the
Taj Mahal to spending time in Mumbai, remains vivid in my heart.”
The 61-year-old actor didn’t stop at admiration but also expressed a genuine interest in stepping into the world of Hindi cinema. Known for his larger-than-life action roles, and love for adventure and travel, Cruise revealed, “I would love to go back to India and make a film there. I love Bollywood films—the dancing, the singing, the acting. It’s such a beautiful and unique experience. The craftsmanship required to sing, dance, and act simultaneously is extraordinary."
While Cruise has been living life on the edge and building up his action-star portfolio, he admitted that he has long appreciated musicals. “I love it when a scene suddenly bursts into a song. I grew up watching musicals from around the world, and Bollywood does it so beautifully,” he said.
He also shared that he has many friends in India and is eager to return. “I’ve met such amazing people in India. I would love to go back and make a Bollywood-style movie. It would be so much fun.”
Meanwhile, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning has hit Indian theatres in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu across premium formats including 4DX and IMAX. Notably, the film has been released in India six days ahead of its US premiere over the Memorial Day weekend.
