John Abraham’s movie ‘The Diplomat’ has completed its first week at the box office with a collection of Rs.19.10 crore. The film, which had a strong opening weekend, saw a significant drop in weekday revenue. John and Akshay not only share great on-screen chemistry but also a strong off-screen bond. John spoke about their friendship, saying that both of them have similar lifestyles. "We both wake up early; we both sleep early. He’s truly very disciplined. I believe I’m a little more disciplined but let him take that throne of being disciplined," he joked.

Although nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the enthusiasm from John can surely give hopes to fans. On the work front, John’s latest film ‘The Diplomat’ hit the screens on March 14, according to a Sacnilk report, the total of the movie after a 7-day run is Rs.19.10 crore, just an inch away from the Rs.20 crore mark. ETimes review for the film reads, "John Abraham delivers one of his most nuanced performances as the empathetic and resolute diplomat. He balances quiet authority with wry humour, particularly in moments where he subtly challenges Pakistani officials. "Yeh Pakistan hai, beta, yahan aadmi aur ghoda seedhi chaal nahi chalta," offers a refreshing break from the usual jingoistic rhetoric."
