Kevin Durant led the Phoenix Suns to a much-needed victory adding a stunning 42-point alongside six rebounds, and eight assists. Following the matchup, the Suns veteran had a candid chat with the reporters during the post-game press talk. When one of the reporters asked him if he could recollect any fond memories of his early basketball days, Durant immediately shared the hilarious story of how his father defeated him but he had the last laugh as he pulled off the perfect revenge on his father.

“I was in seventh grade,” Durant said with a huge smile on his face recalling the incident. “I was 11 years old, in the driveway. After he scored the final point and I locked him out the house. That was the last time. 20-something years ago,” he added.
Durant has been on the receiving end of criticism but the 36-year-old forward has made his case strong with his dominant performance in the recent matchup. Durant also created NBA history in Friday’s matchup at the PHX Arena. He surpassed Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett to claim 13th place on the NBA’s all-time field goals made list with 10,506. He’s poised to climb to 12th by Monday when the Suns face the Milwaukee Bucks.

"Masterclass," Suns teammate Devin Booker said of Durant. "I'm glad we handled business," he continued. "We were pressuring him beyond half court. Just trying to force him to play faster."
The Cavaliers have now faced the fourth consecutive loss. "This is the best team in the league," Durant said of Cleveland "We've been struggling and we know we've got the toughest schedule for the last 10 games," he added. "So we just wanted to dial in and make sure we kept building on the work we've done over the last week."
The Suns seemingly bounced back from their recent struggles as they have moved to the 10 position in the Western Conference standings.
