Detroit Tigers turn heads after leading the American League Central Division
During the post-game interview, Detroit Tigers’ coach A.J. Hinch gave a sneak peek into his confident mindset for the upcoming games and even sent out a clear message to the other MLB teams with respect to the 2025 World Series Championship Title. After defeating the Houston Astros with a 3-point score deficit, the Tigers are currently leading the Central division table. A. J. Hinch said-
“I have a heartbroken team for all the right reasons. We’re going to stay disciplined to run the long race.” While talking about the approach of the Tigers, Hinch even said-
“It's good we keep winning series, which is really key. If I'm going to look at the season as a whole, I try to break them up into as many small increments as I can, and this series, you know, we did a lot of things well, like these guys are really doing things that are helping us win, and you know, it's one thing to win a series, and then we finished it off.”Manager A.J. The Detroit Tigers’ coach further elaborated-
“I know we've had a couple of opportunities like this and fallen short, and today we didn't with a really complete game, and so I like the fact that we're going to start over tomorrow, you know. We're not going to carry too much into tomorrow; we're getting on a plane, we're going to play a brand new team, and we need to prepare for them.”After winning back-to-back games during the ongoing MLB season, the Detroit Tigers even went on to sweep off the Houston Astros with an overall score of 7-4, which has helped them to earn the top position in the American League Central Division, followed by the Cleveland Guardians, Kansas City Royals, Minnesota Twins, and Chicago White Sox.
