NEW DELHI: India captain and
Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma's lean patch in IPL 2025 persisted as he was dismissed for just 17 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.
Chasing a daunting 222, Rohit showed brief promise, cracking a six off Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the first over and following it up with two successive boundaries off Yash Dayal. However, the fourth delivery from Dayal — a sharp inswinger — sneaked past Rohit’s bat and crashed into his leg stump.
