NEW DELHI: The Indian Premier League is set to resume on Saturday, following a week-long suspension due to escalating cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan. IPL officials confirmed the decision on Monday, three days after the tournament was halted in the wake of military strikes exchanged by both nations.Importantly, no matches will be lost. The abandoned Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals game in Dharamsala, which was called off in the 11th over, will be replayed.

Chandigarh and Dharamsala—Punjab Kings’ designated home venues and closest to the border—have been removed from the schedule due to security and logistical challenges. Punjab will now play their remaining two league fixtures in Jaipur.
