Ashita Dhawan on travelling; says ‘It refreshes your mind, making you feel rejuvenated’
Ashita Dhawan, known for her roles in popular television shows like Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Imlie, Krishna Mohini, and Mera Balam Thanedaar, is currently captivating audiences in Prem Leela on Dangal. While she enjoys being immersed in the world of entertainment, Ashita also harbors a deep passion for travelling. For her, travelling is not just about visiting new places but also about rejuvenation and inspiration.
Speaking about her dream destination, she shared, "My dream travel destination is Kashmir. I’ve been wanting to go there for years now. I really want to see the beautiful green Kashmir and also experience the winter Kashmir. I truly hope and pray that I can at least start with Kashmir and then maybe think about travelling internationally."

Ashita firmly believes that travelling has a profound impact on a person's mind and creativity. She explained, "Travelling definitely enhances your creativity because it gives you so much exposure. You get to learn and see new things, detach from your daily routine, explore new places, and meet different people. It refreshes your mind, making you feel rejuvenated. So, of course, it boosts your creativity, and that’s why travelling is very important."
While acting remains her primary passion, Ashita has also been encouraged to explore other aspects of the entertainment industry. She revealed, "The people around me often tell me, 'Ashita, you should get into direction.' Whenever I share my ideas with the production team, they appreciate them, which makes me feel good. But honestly, I think of myself as a 'jack of all trades, master of none' for now. My main focus is on improving my acting skills, doing good work, and getting better day by day. That said, I do know how to do many things, so I’m sure I’ll achieve something or the other in life."
She also shared an interesting insight into her occasional involvement in direction, saying, "In today’s world, multitasking is common. I sometimes direct things on my show too. There are moments when I’m assertive with my team, making decisions quickly. I jokingly tell them, 'Just do what I say quietly, or I’ll cut you out of the reel!'"
When asked how she balances her personal and professional life, Ashita responded, "Work-life balance happens naturally when you have no other option. As an actor, a mother, and someone with multiple responsibilities, you learn to find a way to balance everything. You figure out how to manage your time and be fully present wherever you are."

She further emphasized the importance of being present in the moment, adding, "When I’m at work, I give it my 100%, and when I’m at home, I’m completely focused on my family. The most important thing you can give someone is your time, but it should be given wholeheartedly and completely. If you do that, maintaining a work-life balance becomes much easier."
Through her thoughts on travelling and life, Ashita Dhawan exemplifies how passion, dedication, and a love for exploration can bring about growth and rejuvenation. Whether on set or on a trip, she believes in embracing every experience to the fullest.
