Television actress Samridhii Shukla, who plays the lead role of Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently sustained a minor burn injury while shooting an important sequence. The incident took place on March 7 on the sets of the show during a cooking scene.The scene required Samridhii’s character, Abhira, to prepare kachoris—Armaan’s favorite dish—to mark their first meeting anniversary. As part of the sequence, she had to fry them in hot oil. Unfortunately, while performing the scene, oil splashed onto her hand, resulting in a burn injury.
