JKBOSE Class 10 result 2025: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) officially declared the Class 10 Annual (Regular) Examination 2025 results late last night, bringing closure to weeks of anticipation for thousands of students and parents across the region.
This year, a total of 1,45,671 students appeared for the examination, out of which 1,16,453 qualified, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 79.94%. The result marks a slight improvement over last year’s performance and reflects JKBOSE’s timely efforts in conducting and evaluating the exams more efficiently.
Girls once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage among girls stood at 81.24%, while boys recorded a pass rate of 78.74%, continuing the consistent trend of academic excellence among female students in the Union Territory.
Subject-wise performance has been strong across the board. Urdu recorded the highest pass percentage at 92.50%, followed closely by Science and Social Studies at 90% each. Hindi and Mathematics both performed well, with pass rates of 88.50% and 88%, respectively. English saw a slightly lower, yet commendable, success rate of 84%.
In terms of grades, 16,343 students secured an A1 grade, showcasing outstanding academic performance. Meanwhile, only 49 students were placed in Grade D, indicating a low percentage of underperformers and an overall robust academic showing.

Students can now access their results on the official JKBOSE website. To do so, they should visit https://ui.tgsession.com/6wa840r88_1kacazuxqoyryo/, go to the ‘Results’ section, select ‘Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Annual Regular – 2025’, and enter their roll number and registration number. Additionally, results can be checked via SMS by typing ‘JKBOSE10’ followed by the roll number and sending it to 5676750. Students are encouraged to download or screenshot their scorecard for future reference.
It is important to note that the online result is provisional. Students must collect their original marksheets from their respective schools. Those who are dissatisfied with their scores can apply for revaluation at a fee of INR 520 per subject. Revaluation results are expected in August 2025. Meanwhile, compartment exams for students who failed in one or two subjects are tentatively scheduled for July 2025.
Applications for the next examination session must be submitted within 15 days of the result announcement. The Permission-cum-Admission form must have a passport-sized photograph pasted on it and should be accompanied by an Eligibility Certificate.
